Mohawk Park — Woodbine

Two old courses in Mohawk Park: Woodbine, reworked by Floyd Farley in 1934 with oaks, pecans and big greens, and the tighter, wetter Pecan Valley.

About Mohawk Park — Woodbine

Mohawk Park is a city golf complex in north Tulsa's big Mohawk Park, with two courses. Woodbine is the main event: built in the late 1920s and redesigned in 1934 by Floyd Farley, who went on to design more than 100 layouts, Quail Creek in Oklahoma City the best known. It plays among mature oak and pecan trees with little water, generous fairways and large greens, par 72 and 6,845 yards from the Gold tees (72.8/122).

Pecan Valley came in the 1950s and is the opposite test: tight driving areas where you have to work the ball, trees everywhere and water in play often. Its front nine has since been turned into a nine of par 4s and 3s used by First Tee for junior golf.

Both belong to Tulsa Parks. Sidorakis Golf, led by longtime Southern Hills man Nick Sidorakis and architect Randy Heckenkemper, took over day-to-day running on April 1, 2025.

It's one of 5 courses in Tulsa on Yoink, and Mohawk Park — Pecan Valley is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
